A Fresh Take on Romance at The Ivy

When Molly and Nate approached us, they had already secured their venue and selected key vendors. Their vision was clear. They wanted a team who could translate their creative ideas into a refined, cohesive celebration. With their wedding set at The Ivy at Ellis Preserve, a newly opened venue established in 2024, we embraced the opportunity to work within a fresh space while collaborating with the talented Finley team. The result was a modern spring wedding that felt personal and intentional, complete with heartfelt moments and even a gentle sun shower to enrich their ceremony with poetic charm.
A Seamless Experience, Start to Finish
From the start, Molly expressed a desire for a stress-free experience. Our team made it our mission to ensure every logistical element was expertly managed behind the scenes. This included coordinating with a full suite of vendors, especially those managing beauty services and entertainment, to align perfectly within a narrow timeline so every guest at the soirée felt radiant and stimulated throughout the day. Our coordinated check-ins with the couple kept Molly and Nate in the loop consistently on vendor adjustments, schedule changes, and necessary tweaks, creating a smooth dynamic that provides autonomy to the happy couple without the stress of micromanaging every detail before—and during—their wedding day.
Behind the Scenes, Before the First Look
On the morning of the wedding, while the couple embraced the quiet joy of getting ready, the Lavish Haus team was already on-site. We welcomed vendors, introduced ourselves to the bridal party, and oversaw every element of setup. Our team served as the single point of contact, ensuring smooth communication across all moving parts. With us present, Molly and Nate were able to focus on one another and fully immerse themselves in the day without the weight of behind-the-scenes responsibilities. We believe Molly said it best herself when thanking us for a truly seamless experience:
“The entire day was incredible & I’ve never felt more at ease. Your team worked so hard to coordinate and set everything up the day of, it was surreal watching it all come together. The designs of everything looked absolutely gorgeous across the whole space - better than I ever could’ve expected!!
We had the best night of our lives and this whole process was truly truly enjoyable. You took care of everything start to finish, and ran things so smoothly the day of we could really be present in the moment.”- Molly, Bride
Soft Spring Hues with a Stylish Touch
The design centered around a soft palette of blush pinks and muted greens. Elegant stationery brought in delicate white and green accents, while the reception tables were adorned with dusty rose linens and matching napkins. The color story harmonized beautifully with the surrounding landscape of The Ivy. With the on-and-off rain present, the surrounding foliage was brought to life, welcoming each guest as they arrived. The bridal party attire added the perfect touch, with each bridesmaid wearing a variation of pink or green. This was an artistic and meaningful complement to the floral-forward decor.
A New Chapter at The Ivy
For Lavish Haus, cultivating strong relationships with venues is essential to delivering excellence. Taking on a wedding at The Ivy meant not only guiding our couple, but also stepping into a new partnership with the venue itself. Together, we coordinated vendor logistics, set-up requirements, and event flow. The Ivy’s thoughtfully designed layout provided an ideal experience for guests, moving them gracefully from ceremony to cocktail hour and finally into a grand reception reveal. Its modern architecture paired beautifully with our elevated aesthetic, allowing for a celebration that was both fresh and timeless.
A Warm Celebration to Remember
As a light rain passed and the evening arrived, Molly and Nate were enveloped by the warmth of their closest family and friends. Personal touches such as homemade cookies and a curated ice cream bar reflected their generous spirit and desire to delight every guest. It was a day filled with joy, intention, and effortless style. We were honored to bring their vision to life and to be a part of a celebration that will live on in their memories and ours for years to come.
