When Michele and Mike came to us a Lavish Haus, they were seeking comprehensive support across every facet of their celebration—from vendor management and event production to visual design and wedding day execution. The pair expressed their desire for a planner who could thoughtfully interpret her ideas and ensure every element felt intentional and well-aligned. With this in mind, our full-service planning team curated a day that felt both distinctly theirs and beautifully cohesive. Hosted at the unforgettable Pocono Palms, their wedding was a seamless expression of personal style, elevated by thoughtful detail and expert coordination.

Vibrant Vision, Bold Execution

At the heart of Michele’s vision was a desire for bold artistry: vibrant florals, nostalgic glamour, and a touch of the unexpected, all balanced with an emphasis on refined food and beverage experiences. We channeled this energy through a statement palette of vivid pinks and greens, grounded by modern black accents. Oversized white floral installations provided elegant contrast and illuminated the more playful details, such as personalized table numbers and editorial-style ceremony programs. Tablescapes layered dark, translucent glassware over rich wood textures, complemented by black detailing that gave the reception design depth and dimension. The interplay of shimmer, bold tones, and structural floral design brought the space to life in a way that felt immersive yet refined. While the palette was daring, our planning and design process ensured a beautifully curated result—distinct, elevated, and deeply memorable.

A Celebration of Unapologetic Style

Our eccentric couple embraced a wedding aesthetic that was unabashedly personal and delightfully unconventional. The event wove together elements of disco-era sparkle with art deco sophistication, seen in reflective disco ball florals, checkerboard envelope liners, and escort tags styled as whimsical clothing size labels, each personalized with guest names and table numbers. Layered within these bold choices was a romantic, almost ethereal sensibility, revealed in the hearts, arrows, and cherubs woven into the bar signage and stationery. Every detail was a reflection of their playfulness and individuality. A standout element was the custom ceremony program, designed as a vintage-inspired newspaper. Guests were greeted with a front-page headline announcing Michele and Mike’s union, creating a blend of nostalgia and storytelling that was both stylish and clever. These charming keepsakes not only outlined the day’s events, but also became part of the guest experience; a tactile celebration of the couple’s shared sense of style and creativity. The result was a celebration that felt alive with charm at every turn.

Crisp white florals elevated the space, softening the structure while accentuating its Tudor-inspired elegance. Checkerboard flooring and striking geometric chandeliers added an edge of modernity, perfectly complementing the couple’s aesthetic. Outside, the streamside garden ceremony space offered a romantic, open-air setting, while the cocktail area provided an effortless flow. From architecture to ambiance, Pocono Palms seamlessly supported the day’s bold creative direction while elevating it through natural elegance and structural beauty. It felt as though the space was made just for them.
