A Chic Pastel Wedding at Bear Creek Mountain

Nestled in the quiet mountains of Macungie, Pennsylvania, Elisha and Joe celebrated their marriage with a toast to love. With a dedicated vision but an uncertainty in how to execute, Elisha and Joe called on Lavish Haus to bring their vision to life, and we did exactly that. Slated in the warm embrace of Bear Creek Mountain, we designed and coordinated a celebration that complimented their love with intentional design and thoughtful execution.

Pastel in Full Bloom

When designing Elisha + Joe’s wedding, we cultivated a timeless pastel color palette, bursting with soft hints of greens, yellows, and pinks, to full capitalize on the fresh blooms of spring. With bustles of roses, carnations, and cosmos lining the reception tables, guests were enamored with their beauty. Soft color palettes such as these gently highlight a clean, timeless reception, perfect for welcoming a new chapter of lifelong love.

Vitality in Texture

The happy couple’s wedding day felt alive, not through bold color choices or dramatic statements, but through expansive uses of texture in every feature. Their welcome sign, a personalized welcome message on linen, welcomed every guest with a gentle wave. Their outdoor ceremony provided depth in the woodsy nature of Macungie, filled with spruce trees and a wood-carved archway atop stone steps. After drinks, their handcrafted escort display introduced new life to the second half of the day, complete with a wooden monogram sign to accentuate the moment. Once seated, guests were touched by the striped linens and warm-toned floral napkins, which, when complemented with bronze flatware, encapsulated a sense of belonging at every table. Each piece accentuated the gratitude Elisha and Joe shared for their esteemed guests, recognized by the meticulous touch of our design.

A Comfort Like no Other

Balancing effortless luxury and comfort is a difficult task to master, yet the atmosphere at Bear Creek made the journey seamless. Their quaint location provided a sense of peace for the bridal party and their guests, creating a blend of solitude amongst the mountains will providing autonomy to elevate their space fully into their own. The revitalized barn-esque reception room provided a pleasant baseline for our team to build up, working alongside its features to expand to a lush experience, allowing guests to feel accepted for a night of reconnection. With a backdrop of this scale, subtle touches are best to highlight its present beauty into an exceptional night.

Amongst the storm clouds and bursts of rain, Elisha and Joe celebrated in the way they knew best: in pure love, surrounded by friends and family that were not scared to get a tad wet. The couple’s celebration roared on with dancing, drinks, and laughter with their closest loved ones. All the while, our coordinators worked seamlessly to ensure nothing could dampen their day - not even the rain.
